We are first time chicken owners. We just finished this coop and pen. It's a work in progress. The pen is 10' x 16' and we've put a roof on top.

The coop itself was a prefab. It needed a great deal of tweaking. The pen was our own design. The chicks now spend most days out here.They will be moving in within the next week or so. (The nights here are still pretty chilly.)
