These are my babies Pigpen and Lucy. I started with Dano and Pookie went to Pookie and Pigpen now it's Pig and Lucy. This is Pigpen the day we bought him. He's the orange chick.
Him and 7 of his "siblings" went to live at my in-laws. We took him back when the hawk got Dano.
After we lost Pookie we were a little embarrassed to say we lost another so we went to Craigslist and found Lucy.
They are part of the family and I don't think they even know they are chickens. Pig is a good boy and really watches after Lucy. He also watches after my daughter too. If she's hollaring about something he will start crowing and come running to her. If she's in the house, he flops into the window to get in. When he's tired he starts drooping.
