Post Earthquake

All is well with my chickens and I, we havea shifted to Kaikoura for a year, (planned before the Christchurch earthquake) but travel back back and forth to Christchurch on a regular basis.
Athough the City and some of the eastern suburds are a mess, things are going pretty well. The animals have suffered, a lot of cats and dogs ran during the earthquakes and got lost, the SPCA is doing free chipping which is really helpful.
My chickens have gone to live with my daughter on a lifestye block, they are really happy, scratching through the horse poos and in her barn, when I come back I might have a problem getting them back from her.
Come and visit New Zealand it is a really great place.
