Pumpkin Bread

    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground cloves or nutmeg
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    4 eggs
    2/3 c. water
    2 c. canned pumpkin

    Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°. Sift first 6 (six) ingredients together in large mixing bowl. Stir oil, eggs, water, and pumpkin together in small bowl. Combine wet ingredients with dry. Pour into greased & floured loaf pans (or you may use cooking spray, such as Pam). Optional: Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of bread before baking. Bake bread at 350° for approximately 1 hour. Cool slightly before removing from pans. Makes three loaves, depending on size of pans
