I had chickens all throughout my childhood. When I was a young adult I kept chickens in the country and in an urban environment. I had chickens when my child was growing up. I have carried many a chicken under my arm. I recently just started keeping them again by tricking my partner into it. I live with a novice chicken keeper whom I am occasionally impatient with about the anxiety associated with chickens. Shame on me! My co-heart has become very fascinated and attached to the girls but worries all the time.
We live in Seattle with two indoor and well loved jealous cats, a garden and a very diverse neighborhood of chicken keepers. We have a Salmon Favorelle, a Spotted Sussex and three Ameracaunas. The first two are hilarious, docile and curious, the others are very reactive and smart.
