Additional Information | Royal Oak was chicken-friendly but just recently passed an ordinance which appears to ban chickens now. The new ordinance in part - Keeping ofAnimals The keeping of any animals or animal husbandry (cows chickens pigs goats bees etc) as part of any domestic community and market garden shall be prohibited except as provided in Chapter 195 Animals New ordinance - http://ecode360.com/documents/RO2029/source/363504.pdf#search=chickens Chapter 195 seems to speak only to the humane treatment of chickens (and other animals), not acutally keeping them. |
