The Royal Palm is a descendant of the Bronze, Black and Narragansett turkey. They have not been popular with meat production, but instead is valued for its beauty.

This bird is covered in plumage of white and black. It is mostly white with barred black stripes along the tail and wings. They are mostly kept as an exhibition bird on farms because it lacks the size for commercial use. This birds weight varies from 16 to 22 pounds in the males and 10 to 12 pounds in the females.
Personality-
The toms are non aggressive and the hens are good mothers.
