This is Rupert, an Old English Game bantam. I have not shown him, so I have not dubbed his comb.
I think it kind of adds to his character. He is very cocky, but extremely gentle and he roosts by the door to my main coop.
He lets everyone know when something or someone approaches. He has two hens, and lots of chicks. Oddly, all of his
chicks so far have been pullets. ??? His two hens, Pauline and Chatty Cathy, are my gardening chics. I take them into the garden or flower beds
with me, and they love to chatter and hunt for bugs and snakes while I weed. I don't know what I would do without chickens now.
