    Additional InformationOur city has a \"no livestock\" ordinance, although we are surrounded by unincorporated areas as well as cities that DO allow lovestock! I am currently involved in the effort to change that, that\'s how I found this link!!

    There is a clause! :) However, the 100 feet is quite a distance...especially in SC.

    City DOES allow chickens...
    6.08.020 - Dogs on public property—Animals in proximity to residences.
    C. Keeping of Certain Animals and Fowl Near Residences. .....It shall be unlawful for any person in a residential structure to keep or maintain any animal within one hundred (100) feet of any other residential structure occupied by a person other than the animal's owner and/or keeper unless:
    It is expressly allowed by the Zoning Code;
