Hi!! My name is Selina and I live in North Florida on five acres with my husband and baby daughter. We have 2 horses, 2 dogs, and 9 chickens. I ordered my chickens from the local farm supply and wanted every color in the rainbow so I've got 1 Buff Orpington rooster, 1 Buff Orpington hen, 1 Black Australorp hen, 1 Barred Rock hen, and 5 hens. I've never raised chickens so I'm still learning, but my husband built me a great chicken house that I drew and so far we've had no predators or diseases. I got them March '08 and they started laying around 5 1/2 months old. So far I'm totally in love with their fabulous feathered butts!!!Ameraucana
