So you did it, you went and got a few chooks for your backyard. They’re laying now, and you’ve decided you want to get started selling eggs! :bun

Now comes the question- how do I get started?
You’re never going to want to sell eggs that have been collected for selling over 2 weeks. At that point, you can eat them or toss them. Too many people nowadays find complaints about anything... let’s not make old eggs one of them. Of course we would normally use them still, but you’re always going to give your customers the freshest eggs possible.

Do I wash the eggs? ~ Yes. Even if you wouldn’t normally wash your eggs for eating, when selling, unless of course the customer has went out of their way to ask you not to- you’re going to want to wash the eggs. When washing the eggs, make sure to get all the bits of debris off of the egg.

So you’re ready to sell and show of those beautiful eggs, but you can’t seem to find anyone would wouldn’t rather but some at the store :barnie

Let’s fix that;
~ Ask close friends, relatives, and even people at your workplace. They’ll usually have a use to buy some eggs from a friend or family member.
~ Make your eggs have the best quality possible! Let the customer know that your eggs are as fresh as possible. Did you know store-bought eggs could be months old by time they reach the retailer? Who would do that when you can have fresh, clean. Eggs? Not me!

Personally, I sell my eggs for 2USD. You’re going to want to make sure you off more than the store does.
Example:
If the store sells them for 3.50USD, you’ll probably want to sell yours for a bit less (approximately $3). After you’ve gotten a few trustworthy customers, you can raise your prices a bit, maybe equivalent to the store’s

Quick note *DONT SELL EGGS FROM SICK CHICKENS!!*
