Ingredients:


1 stick butter
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 egg, beaten well
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
1 c. chopped dates
1 box coconut

Cooking Instructions


Melt butter in large deep pan. Add beaten egg, sugar and dates. Cook over moderate heat about 6 minutes until dates melt, stirring constantly. Remove from fire, add Rice Krispies, pecans & vanilla. Roll in small balls & roll in coconut.

Note: This recipe easily doubles. Very good for Christmas cooking.
