Slipped Tendons, chick chairs, blindness, and caring for the special needs chick

Excellent article and so helpful. I occasionally come upon folks with these issues and will share them with them. Thank you.
Very informative. Thank you for sharing in such detail.
Thanks for the great information! I have my chick in a sling right now due to a slipped tendon. WRT the other issue on blindness you should google Keratoconus. My middle son has this it's a deformation of the cornea that makes the eyes bulging or "football" shaped. I don't know if it has been seen in chickens but what you describe sounds like what my son has. Also if she does then she is not actually totally blind but sees through a refractive prism so she can see shapes and movements but that's about it. My son says it's like looking through a kaleidoscope some times. It also gets worse and better so all in all a pretty odd disease.
Thank you so much. Great article. We have a 9 month old rooster with leg issue. Came across this looking for help with my rooster.
Very good article!
Beautiful story with a sad, not bad ending. A lot of experiences have been written down here that, i am sure, heve been of great value for others. Very well written with many supportive pictures.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a fabulous article! I love all the details, explanations, and pictures. This article should truly be able to help anyone that experiences a chick with a slipped tendon (or 2), or has a chick that has limited sight.
I had a chick with slipped tendons a few years ago and despite my efforts it did not work out as well for my chick. However, you did do some things that I did not try ( such as the sock sling).
Thanks again for a fabulous article!
