Soft egg layer

So... one of my American Pekin Ducks has been having an issue lately where every three days or so she has been popping out soft eggs out of nowhere. She will be standing there drinking water and then all of a sudden pop out an egg that has just the first layer on it but no shell, at first I thought it was her getting scared by something but then today I saw it in person. She literally popped it out with no sound or issue it just fell out. She lays eggs after this, for the next 2 days, they may be a little deformed but eventually she lays a nice pretty egg and then this happens Any suggestions on what this could be???

A thread in the ducks forum would be a better place to post this.
However, your duck likely had a calcium deficiency. Offer a bowl of crushed oyster shell or toasted and crushed egg shell. They'll take what they need when they need it.
