Spring Chickens

Well its that time of year.........grass is green...........trees have leaves.......... gardens come alive.............and crazy chicken people get chicks [IMG]. I got my newest chicks March 23 and they are now a little over 6 weeks old. They've been living outside for about 2 weeks and are being slowly integrated into the big coop. Yesterday was a beautiful day so I got the camera out and some fun [IMG]. Before I drown you in pictures I will introduce the newbies:

Chipmunk Jr. (called Chip) - My adorable Easter Egger
Pippin (called Pip) - Chip's Easter Egger shadow
Sassafras (called Sassy) - My Barred Rock who lives up to her name
Luna and Stella - My two inseparable Buff Orpingtons
    Tib - My inquisitive Welsummer
Alice - My spunky yet slightly ditzy Buff Brahma

Ok, now here are the pictures! First a few group photos:

    Hello,

    Beautiful flock!

I love when Buff Brahma's get that "fluffy gray" feathers coming in!

No, I know she is a pullet. Her comb isn't very red, her coloring is darker, and her legs have a black wash. My BRs always have been bossy/sassy (including hens) in the past so I'm not surprised :).

Aww!Adorable!I might know why Sassy is so "sassy"...
Her comb looks bigger then the rest
