Howdy BYC! My name is Shelle, I live in the great state of Texas! Besides being and wife and a mother of 3 wonderful children. I have a small chicken farm with different types of (25)hens and (4)roosters and 7 newly hatchs chicks (will be a week on April 9, 2011). We have 4 ducks and 3 geese. I also have 4 rabbits, 2 dogs, a bearded dragon and a Fire Toad. All of which keep me busy. I recently decided to start incubating my own eggs due to my hens aren't in the mood for brooding. I have sucessfully hatched 7, and put a new batch of 40 in the bator on April 1st and awaiting their arrival on April 22. I am so excited about seeing if I have learned from my first batch. This site has helped me tremdously!
