1/4 c. honey
1/4 c. butter, softened
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp baking powder
1 1/2 c. ground sunflower seeds. with or without shell
1 c. milk
1/2 c. whole or coarse ground sunflower meats
Preheat oven to 325° and grease a loaf pan. Beat together honey and butter, beat in eggs. In a separate large mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and ground seeds. Add to honey mixture alternately with milk. Fold in the whole sunflower meats. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake 1 hour. Cool on rack.
Note: This bread slices better when cool.
