We have a lovely small cottage type home on the cliffs of Washburn Wisconsin, on the Shores of Lake Superior. We just completed a metal roofed 12x30' run for our small flock of 5 Buff Orpingtons. The coop itself sits inside the run, and is 6x4' with nest boxes protruding off the side of the coop. It has 2 double hung windows and a ventilation window that runs all the way across the back of the coop. We fully insulated it, and added electricity.
As soon as I can learn how to post pictures I will have many for your enjoyment. For now, this is a work in progress!
