    Hello!
I have 16 chickens, 4 at almost 2 yrs old (2 Amercana, 1 Rhode Island Red and 1 Leghorn) from my first generation; 10 are my second generation and they will be 1 yr. old this spring.(2 Rhode Island Reds, 1 Barred Rock, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 3 Black Asolthorps, a friend of mine had to let go of 3 chickens, so I adopted hers which are a Plymouth Rock, Amercana, Golden Laced Wyandotte, and a English Cochen. They are adjusted very well. They are laying about 7-10 eggs per day. I learn more and more about my girls, I love my chickens they are so social! I never knew that about chickens. They follow me around our place... always checking in when I am out there gardening. Or just sitting having lunch.
