Ingredients:


2 unbaked, prepared 9 in pie shells
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 c. cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
5 oz. evaporated milk
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground anise

Cooking Instructions


Preheat oven to 350°. Mix potatoes, milk and sugars; blend well. In a separate bowl, mix thoroughly the eggs, vanilla and spices. Pour into prepared shells and bake for 1 hour or until firmly set. Serve hot or cold.
