The cathedral of Chicken Tractors

I made this chicken tractor which I have humorously referred to as the World's Greatest Chicken Tractor. It is a work of art, but has a lot of handy features built in to make is a very functioning chicken tractor. Of course, the tractor part means that it has wheels allowing it to be moved around from one area in my yard to another. I have a site with more explanation and pictures at

I have an automatic feeder and waterer built in and the nesting boxes are on the back. I have a number of security features because in my area there are all types of predators looking for a free chicken dinner. I use a winch and cable system to raise the wheels and it moves fairly easy from place to place.

There are four nesting boxes in the alcoves on the back. They open to allow egg retrieval, clean out etc. Inside are the roosting poles and the round windows allow a lot of ventilation. I would love any feedback you may have.

It's eye pleasing and seems to have been built well. Would have liked to see how this was built, some dimensions, estimated cost, etc.

Spectacular job on creating a beautiful mobile coop. Plans and process of getting from paper to finished product would be very helpful.

Great looking job mate, the workmanship is top notch, I put a few hours into building our "tug boat Tikka Masala" but it pales into insignificance against your work of art, truly well done as this must surely be the winner so far! How many lucky birds reside there? Good luck.
