Today I color coded my chicks. The younger chicks (Lav. Orpingtons, Jubilee Orpingtons, and Polish) are 4 or 5 days old now, and the RIR gang is about 1½ weeks old. Out of all seven RIR chicks, it appears I have 2 roosters and 5 hens. The only ones I'm sure about are the 2 males, the rest could just take a smidge later to bloom. Here are my Red chicks:
