Sicíní is the word for "chickens" in the Irish language. We live in the Connemara region of County Galway, Ireland. We keep four lovely hens on our property that sits right on the wildly wet & windy Atlantic Ocean. As of this writing, we're new chicken keepers, having started in January of 2012. We may expand the flock in the future as we become more adept at keeping them happy and healthy.

Here are the lovely little ladies...

Miss Pross, the undisputed boss of the flock (Sussex Ponte)

    Cordelia, the brave one (Bluebell)

Matilida, the meek one (Fenton Blue in the foreground)

    Daisy, the homebody (Blackrock)

Thanks for checking out our chickens!

Go raibh míle maith agat! (thank you very much)
