The Dog House Chicken Coop

Love the idea of up-cycling an old dog house. Step-by-step documentation of the built, supported with nice pictures. The only missing thing are some measurements. How large is that dog-house?

I like the idea of turning a dog house into a chicken coop! One thing to add would be more ventilation, that will be needed. 1 sqft per bird.

Unless I overlooked the dimensions, this seems to be somewhat small for 6 hens. I can see where it would be helpful for temporary chick housing and I appreciate the idea of reusing the materials you already had on hand.
