The Flock: 2015!

  1. TamingMaster
This is my updated flock page for 2015!

    Lady Marigold:

Lady Marigold was my first ever chicken. She is a bossy, intelligent, loud and crazy little hen who I love with all my heart! Unfortunately, I have no clue as to what breed she is, though many have told me that she resembles a Legbar or a Leghorn.

    Lovey:

Lovey is my big, beautiful, cuddly hen. She is the sweetest chicken I have ever had the pleasure of owning! She is a Golden Brahma.

    Lady Egglantine:

Lady Egglantine is by far the most adventurous, loveable and bold hen I've ever had. I'm so proud of Egg, she got Chicken of the Week here on BYC and she is now flock leader! She is a beautiful Vorwerk.

    Pinkie:

Pinkie is a little bit shy, but she is also very quick and huggable. I love her 'get ready to eat' stance, it's so cute! She is a Bielefelder.

    Thanks Chicken Girl1!

Autumnhearth, thank you! Beetle brow, what a funny name! Lady Marigold lays cream white eggs, but sometimes she'll lay light blue eggs. I agree, she resembles a Legbar.

Love the Lady names, beautiful hens. Aww Lovey, such a prominent beetle brow, I just found out that is what makes Brahmas and a few other breeds look so sad, we have a Light Brahma pullet and I adore her. What color eggs does Lady Marigold lay? She does look like a Crested Legbar but there are a few other breeds that have small crests and that coloring. Like Altsteirer and Swedish Flower Hens but my bet is on the Legbar, not a Leghorn.
