ABout three years ago we built a house on a couple of acres. Gardening and chickens were our goals as recently retired people. I found these beautiful plans for a gorgeous coop from the Heather Bullard site. She is a designer in S. Calif. I bought them, put them away and then one day we were ready to build! My husband, who is a terrific wood worker but hobbyist only, created a masterpiece. We painted it to match our country farm house style place. He made the run larger and in the winter they have free run of our fenced in veggie gardens,. For now they stay in their run as new seedlings don't like getting dug up daily! My husband is a perfectionist so this took a while but wow!, it is so perfect. [IMG]

[IMG]Thank you to Heather S. for telling us about his great site! My new friend.

Beautiful looking coop and nice size run. It's unfortunate there wasn't much detail on how it was built or a photo of the inside of the coop.
