There was once a quail egg that had been in its shell for roughly 48 hours, with no progression.

I knew that You should never help a hatching egg, but I took the chance and started working on the shell,

BLOOD! blood came fast I wanted to cry I stopped but later started again when there was no progression,

I fought the blood and came to the yolk sack scare I carefully tore it, by this time the chick looked week immature and I felt like a idiot.:barnie

I put the chick back in my incubator praying she or he would either die so her pain would end or stay alive by a miracle.

An hour later she was much better in my incubator, in anther hour I picked her up to examine her and she pooped.. :ya

(I don't think I will ever be so happy to see a poop on my hand ever again)
I knew it was time to introduce her to the other baby quail.

at first the pecked her and I kept noticing her head shake a lot. ( Its still shaking)

but soon she got dry, she cuddled with the rest and an hour later you would never know that she was helped out of a egg.

THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU SHOULD HELP A HATCHING EGG! :jumpy

She is happily eating and drinking now.:ya

WHAT A MIRACLE!!!

THANK YOU FATHER IN HEAVEN!

the only think that worries me is that she still is shaking her head but she is much much better, any thoughts on why she is shaking it would be gladly excepted!
