We started our chicken adventure 6 short weeks ago with our "original" 7 girls from Fayetteville (NC) Poultry Chick Dealer & Hatchery. After that we were hooked and just last week purchased 5 more including 3 Russian Orloff's. Our total of 12 now consist of 2 Cinnamon Queens, 2 Easter Eggers, a Standard Light Brahma, a Barred Rock, a Buff Orphington, 1 Silver and 1 Gold Laced Wynadottes and the 3 RO's that are oh so adorable :) The original 7 are now 6 weeks old, our EE's are 3 weeks old and the Russians are the youngest babies. Here they are (yet to be named) at 8 days old. We like to wait and see their personalities before we name them. They are such sweethearts!
