The Reasons Why I Love BYC
BYC is a wonderful website! It has really made an impact on my life in ways I never would have thought were even possible. I just wanted to share my appreciation for it in this article.
The Members
The members on BYC are just like a big, unique family. I love my friends here and never would have imagined you could grow to be so close to people online. I love how these people are helpful, kind and very friendly. I have enjoyed getting to know each of my special friends and I can’t wait to see whom I might meet next. Some of my friends have even said they would like to come to my lodge and meet me. This never would have happened if I hadn’t of joined BYC and met such great people. I am always amazed at how many people consider me to be their friend and it makes me feel so appreciated. Thank you to my friends on here! I love each of you.
The Threads
There are a few threads here on BYC that are just amazing! My chat thread for example, is a place where my friends and I talk about our days and things going on in our lives. I feel like it is a safe place for us all to hang out. I love our conversations and how we all make an effort to communicate daily. I never would have imagined how popular and busy it is these days. I also like the thread “Quotes and Thoughts for the day.” I love how the people on this thread include me and talk to me. Of course there are many other wonderful threads on here but these are the ones that stand out for me.
The Community
The whole community on here is just awesome. We have some great moderators who keep things safe and appropriate. I love the fact that this is a community for chicken and poultry lovers who can share their advice and experiences plus get to know one another and develop relationships. The fact that I can use my talent for writing and love for animals freely on here and have it be appreciated makes me feel so special.
BYC is an incredible website! Many of my friends ask me why I don’t have pinterest, facebook or twitter accounts for social media. My answer to them is simply “I may not have those but I have an account on a chicken website where I have better friends than I may ever have on those other sites. And that is enough for me.” So thank you BYC for being so helpful and friendly. I love my “family” on here and think you are the best!
