The Super Serama Bunch

It all started with one hatch...[IMG] After my first hatch in the spring of 2014 I was hooked.
This is the only one I kept.

As many of you know chicken math soon took over. I had 2 more hatches of D'uccle bantams.

Then, my long time friend offered me a almost completely white serama rooster. How could I refuse?[IMG] So, the serama addiction started...[IMG]
    Snowy

So, I attended a serama tabletop show (it was awesome). And came home with this hen.
    Powderpuff
    [IMG]
(I had just finished blow drying her from her bath)
    Then, I got a pair.
    Truffles and Avalon
    [IMG]

Then, someone gave me a serama hen[IMG]
    Cinnabon
    [IMG]

It was necessary to hatch more seramas...[IMG]
So, I hatched these guys. They are now a couple months.

At another serama show I found an amazing pair. I just had to have them[IMG][IMG]
    Rocco and Ivy
    [IMG]
(please excuse his comb... he met one of my other roosters by accident)

I then had some eggs in my incubator from Snowy and Powderpuff and a breeder. My normally steady incubator was a bit wacky. So, I got 2 little chicks. (only have pictures of one)
    Oreo and Peanut
    [IMG]
Unfortunately, Peanut got killed by my cat[IMG] Luckily Oreo is safe and healthy. I am getting him a Cochin friend soon. I love Cochin's[IMG]

This is Kermit. He is like a scared dog. But, became so sweet and is best buddies with Oreo. [IMG] I will keep updating

Cinnabon layed her first egg today! 2/25/16

You have perfectly outlined my future!, I will show your story to my husband so he will have a clear idea of my plans after Ms. Sesame Chicken is no longer queen of our home. Throw in a couple of Emus, tweak the available breeds of chicks in our area and I will follow your style of adding feathered kids two by two. Thank you!

They are all very cute!!! The Serama obsession takes over quickly! I got my first Serama 5 months ago & now I've got 2 trios + a hen sitting on 11 eggs....It's never enough lol :)

Drumstick diva: Thanks.Cinnabon is very petite, she is a perfect lap chicken.
ChickenGrass: thank you for the compliments. I befriended a man at a serama show and have been able to get very nice birds for a reasonable price. I love Ivys tail too. I have left some eggs in her pen, so hopefully she goes broody.
