Traveling French Toast

    Ingredients:


    Dough for one loaf of bread. If you have a breadmaker, one white dough.
    8-10 eggs
    fruit of choice (or not)
    maple syrup

    Cooking Instructions


    Filling:
    Crack eggs and mix for scrambled eggs
    add about 1/2 cup of fruit of your choice (not imparative and the fruit will change the egg color dramatically).
    add about 2 tablespoons of maple syrup (to your taste).
    Fry as you would for scrambled eggs. You want them somewhat dry. Let cool to room or refridge temp.
    Divide dough into eight balls (important to handle dough as little as possible)
    roll each ball into a fairly thin round.
    Place a scoop of egg mixture in the middle and close the dough by wrapping the edges around the egg mixture and pinch. Put the bundles on a greased cookie sheet and place in a warm place to rise. When double in size cook in a 400 degree oven for 15-18 minutes.
