Treats for Moulting Chickens!

  1. TamingMaster
Moulting is a natural process; usually starting at the end of Summer.

Whilst Moulting, Chickens slowly lose their feathers; new feathers grow in their place creating a beautiful new plumage.

During their Moult, Chickens need lots of protein and carbohydrates.

So, here's a list of treats you can give your Flock to help them through their Moult:

    1.Eggs:
Eggs are a great source of protein; and a delicious treat too!
When boiled and mashed, (with the eggshell), they make an excellent and nutritious treat for your Flock.

    2.Pasta:
Cooked Pasta is an excellent source of carbohydrates.
Whole Wheat Pasta contains more protein than other types of Pasta.
