When you absolutely HAVE to get that bug...

    This is one of my Rhode Island Reds that had her eye on a little bug that was "taunting" her just outside of our fenced enclosure. With some determination and a little stretching, she closed in on her target!

    Flywheel - Yes...she and her coopmates were doing this over and over. I was worried that she would try to stretch too far and get stuck, but she knew her limitations and pulled back in fine. It was funny to watch!

    Mine do the same thing to the weeds along their run. Haven't had to string trim that fence since they got outside!

    Was she able to get her head back in? Feathers don't exactly liked to be dragged 'backwards"!
