My husband and I built this coop over six weekends this spring. We started with a recycled children's nursery school table from our local Habitat ReStore as a base. The table top was even already faced with linoleum! We decided that was the best five dollars we have spent on this project. The attached picket fence run is lined with hardware cloth and has removable screens on top so I can easily clean it out when needed. We borrowed many ideas from all of you coop builders on the BYC site--thanks to all of you for posting your pictures and tips!
