[FONT=tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif]Hi, I am Paula Shepard (aka Windchyme) of Windchyme Silkies. While top notch silkies are my main "thing" I also raise a mixed color pen of bantam cochins in regular and frizzle feathering, a mixed color pen of standard cochins, possible show quality grey call ducks, pet quality snowy call ducks & Dewlap Toulouse Geese from a Holderread background. Coming up in 2010 and beyond- colored sebastopol geese, saddleback pomeranian geese, and dewlap toulouse geese all from parents purchased DIRECTLY from Holderreads (proof provided on request). Also I am hoping for black bibbed call ducks of very high quality.
I take this very seriously and strive to have the highest quality stock I possibly can as it costs as much to feed a good bird as it does to feed a scrub bird. I will ship goslings & sometimes several week old call ducks now and again. I am also willing to entertain trade requests from those who similarly work towards and care about having top notch stock.
I am a single mom that is a trained disability advocate with a specialty in service dogs as well as a private service dog trainer who specializes in the "tougher/guard" breeds. For other hobbies I like to grow and preserve heirloom vegetables, creative writing, photography and all kinds of graphic work on the computer.
