Yodercountrygirls Chicken Coop

    [FONT=book antiqua,palatino]The Yoder Coop[/FONT]

    We finially have Chickens!!! My Husband grew up with chickens and I grew up in the city and have never been around chickens. We plan to use this shed has part of our coop.We moved this shed onto our place 2 years ago. The finial deminsions of the coop will be 5ft by 14ft with a 150sq ft of run.

    [FONT=book antiqua,palatino]As you can see it needs alot of work. We are reusing the insulation for the coop. [​IMG][/FONT]

    Hubby took out the big door and got the studs up.
    [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG] And here are his "big" helpers!!! Our children Roseanna and Wesley.
    A few days later Hubby got the OSB up and the window in!!! Rain was coming so it need to go up quick.

    We got some used tin at my in-laws that is going on the outside and on the inside.

    So far we only spent money for 8 studs, everything else we had or was given.!![​IMG]

    [​IMG] The poop door, it's on a pulley system that goes up and over the coop and comes down by the door!![​IMG] It pulls down and hooks on the screw, there are old window weights to help with the leverage. I have a brillant Hubby!!!

    All finished... working on the roosts.

    [​IMG] The roosts, they are on hinges from an old gargage door, so they can be raised to clean under.
