Was trying my hand at hatching and hatched out a bunch o' chicks! TOO many, actually. I'll have to put about 15 on craigslist tomorrow but it's so hard figuring out which to keep!!
These guys are so cute! I hatched a large batch of silkies and olive eggers from byc member eggs, then blue orpington and jersey giant local eggs (7/8 hatch on the local eggs). My only problem is the JG's look like my olive eggers so I'll have to figure out who is who before I decide what I can keep. I don't want to end up on 'hoarders' with my family staging an intervention!!
Check these chickies out! I have 28 of em with one possible egg to go and a showgirl still drying off..
