The Belgium (bearded & booted) d'Uccle is a TRUE bantam. meaning that it does not come in Standard size. This breed is not to be confused with the Booted Bantam, as this breed MUST have muffs/beard AND feathered feet. This breed comes in several different color variations. Mine are the Millie Fleur Variety. They are a very docile breed, with aggression being an exception and a reason to cull. This breed is excellent for young children because of their temperament, however special attention must be kept for their feathered feet. The d'Uccle is recognized by the APA (American Poultry Association) and the ABA (American Bantam Association).
