This is the hubby putting on one of the last pieces of plywood on the coop. We have hardware cloth covering the openings on the top of the coop and we later cut out more plywood pieces to fit the openings to close the coop up with hinges and latches when it gets cooler.

We started this coop out with 4 pallets to frame it out. Then we added tamarack poles for the base of the roof and some 2 x 4s to create more structural support.

My Coop

This started out as 8 pallets and some plywood and turned into a beautiful coop. It was a family event and the memories made were and still are the best part of it all.
