This is our coop, pea gravel inside to make it easy to clean. We placed a poop box under the roosting pole on the shelf with a box underneath with pea gravel as well as the floor. No smell, no moisture, no dust, no compost, no wood chips! All it takes is a litter scoop to scoop the poop! We clean it out every 6 or so months, clearing out the gravel, do a mild 1:10 parts bleach spray to keep bugs/bacteria away, allowing it to dry, then put new pea gravel in. The chickens water and food stays clean, no stirring up of any mess, and the clean up of the coop takes less than 10 minutes! Our outdoor run area is covered with netting, since we have eagles and raccoons in the area, keeps the chickens safe...I hope you enjoy my pics :)
