After getting all of her saddle, shoulder, and under-wing feathers plucked out by our ducks, Maple needed to come inside for the winter. Partly because she was the only hen getting picked on at the time, and partly because I was worried about her being unable to keep warm. She is very happy hanging out with us in the house....my husband is afraid she is going to live inside forever.
