One of my chicks died about a month ago too, it was a few days old and the smallest in the bunch. I think it got trampled on or suffocated while they were all huddled together sleeping

im sorry that's always sad but it seems like one always dies for no reason that we can tell my dad always sed that death is part of having animals & being a farmer i can remember i was maybe 5 & he would let me know when the baby animals died i was always sad & upset but grew up knowing it's part of life & i passed that on to my children when i meet some people who have not learned that & they loose an animal they have a hard time moveing on it is always sad
