Our EE rooster, Nugget

Red Columbian with the silver gene. Spectacular coloring. I've never seen this before. It looks like red is replacing black until you see it isn't. The beard adds to the effect.
I’ve seen it a few times before. Have you seen the hens with silver hackles but completely red bodies?
Also, do you think this is due to autosomal red, mahogany, or both?
She said you were great with skin color genetics and egg color. Not sure how to add members to the pm.
Amer’s also great at the genetic nomenclature (like how Co = columbian) something I am still hopeless at. :p

Not exactly. I’ve seen hens similar to that but I’d like to see what you saw. A quick google search doesn’t help me, which is annoying because I’m trying to draw the color but don’t know how the hens pattern would even work.

What’s the variety name? I know about blue salmon faverolles, but I’ve never heard of those.

Yes, it’s basically the color of an RIR. (RIRs are, more specifically, black tailed red.)
Well those are something I just made up, lol. The variety name is THE FRENCHIEST FAV. Since it’s red, white, and blue. (Jk) Sounds like a cool project though, too bad I have zero interest in Faverolles.
