First got our chicks when they were 4 weeks old. A neighbor threw away this small coop on the semi-annual trash day. Luckily we were just driving by in a truck! (One man's trash is another man's treasure lol). Got 2 chicks while DH was at work, and the next week he went with me and we got 3 more (we decided 5 was the limit). Finally we both admitted to each other we wanted a rooster (love to hear them crow) and they allowed us to catch the smallest little too in the pen. We love them all.
