Our coop is still in progress of being completed, nest box is almost finished, the front of the enclosed part has been almost completely closed in since this photo was taken, a PVC feeder has been installed inside and a 2x4 roost, another to be added later once we are finished working inside the coop. Electric wire will also surround the coop along with a wire apron, right now we have a temporary apron around it. An automatic waterer has been ordered along with colored leg bands for the hens and 1,000 live meal worms to start a mealworm colony. Fodder system to be created in the future. Chickens will be free ranged in the horse pasture, a chicken door will be installed for this purpose later.
