"Daffy" - mutt hen. You can't really see here, but Rebecca is standing behind her. Rebecca is a pure Silver Appleyard hen. Daffy...is a mystery. Now that she's grown, her coloring is exactly the same as Rebecca's, except for her head which is dark while Rebecca's is white (typical of Appleyard hens), so she must have Appleyard in her somewhere. But when Daffy was a baby, she was solid BLACK, save for a white ring around her neck, hence her name..she was the spitting image of Daffy Duck. Then when she was growing, her head turned bright green like a drake duck. She's a strange one, indeed.
"Milly" - Mallard hen. Super skittish (as Mallards are..). I usually end up with a face full of mud when I have to go after this gal. Goliath and Puddle in front.

Dolly (Lemon Barred Cochin bantam hen) again. Named after Dolly Parton. You get 3 guesses why. ;)
"Chicky-Chick" - tiny white Showgirl hen. Named by my (then 5 year old) son, lol. Couldn't get a good shot of her. She's utterly adorable. She's my absolute favorite. <3
