Southwest side view of chicken coop. August has not been kin to our lawn, now depicted as a scraggly dried up brown lump, the center piece of urban heaven. Never the less, sparrows and finches know our pond will provide a regular supply of welcomed cool water, stocked by 25 mosquito eating carp (all gold fish are carp BTW.) The background shot features our two-sided chicken coop. We put umbrellas over the suspended chicken feeders to keep wind and rain from wetting them.
