They have feathers now so they seem fine in the cool weather. One cold night I had all 3 of the heat lamps on.They huddled under the lights and were just fine. Good thing we only had 1 or 2 cold evenings!

We will cut a hatch door in the coop that we can open and close. So soon, when the weather is warm, they can go out and run around the pasture.

The blue tub will get wood shavings, partial cover and heat lamp for the week old chicks we are getting on Easter! That will be enough for our backyard chicken family!

So far they are happy, it is still very cool outside, I have 1 to 3 heat lights on depending on the coop temp.

This shed we found on craigslist. It is 8 x 10 feet and has a big yard behind it that will be fenced.
