This is my teeny black silky hen Cricket! (Worry not, she likes to cuddle on my lap with her head buried under my arm one way or another, and she's not being pinched or squished at all!)

Cricket had a really hard time as a chick, not breathing easily and puffing heavily after exertion. At the time, we only thought she had a deformed nostril, which looked flattened to the point that she wouldn't be able to breathe through it, but she seemed happy so we didn't worry about her too much. As she grew up and her bones changed, it became VERY clear that she had more than a bum nostril, and that she would have an exceptionally crooked face. Not just the beak is warped as you can see, she actually has one smooth bowed-out side and one normal looking side. She eats just fine at the moment, and is the sweetest hen outside of my Isis in the whole flock. Despite being crooked and potentially forever squeaky, she has no other issues, and keeps up with all the others rather nicely. :3 Now we don't know if her crooked face will become a problem in regards to her eating in the future, but she always has a place as my fluffy lap-chicken, and I'll be more than willing to hand feed her if she needs it. :3
