This is the back door to the coop and a window that can be left open for ventilation when needed.
The view from my back porch. I love just sitting out back and watching the girls be chickens. :)
As you can see the house is shaded by a good sized maple tree so the girls never are exposed to excessive sun and heat.
On this side of the coop there are 3 private nest boxes that are accessible by lifting the door by its handle.

On this side of the coop I have a large storage area for feed, tools, and other chicken needs.
This is the front entrance of the coop pictured from inside of the run which is 4' w X 15' l.
My daughters boyfriend and I designed the coop. He built, with some help from his dad, this gorgeous coop.
